A businessman from Truro district in Frome, Westmoreland, has been charged with murder following the violent death of 29-year-old travel agent Sydonnie Martin.
The accused, 42-year-old Dewayne Anglin, allegedly attacked Martin with a machete during an altercation early Sunday morning.
According to police reports, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on November 3. Anglin reportedly inflicted severe head injuries on Martin, who was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.
Anglin later surrendered to the authorities and has been formally charged. His court date is currently being arranged.
