The Police in St. James have apprehended one of the parish’s most wanted men, Liko Maxwell, also known as “Niko,” following a successful operation in the Garland district of Montego Bay on Friday morning.
Maxwell, who hails from Flamstead Garden in St. James, was recently highlighted in the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s “Wanted Wednesday” campaign.
According to reports, officers conducted a targeted raid at a premises in Garland around 3:30 a.m. During a search of one of the bedrooms, they located and arrested Maxwell.
Superintendent Eron Samuels, Commanding Officer for the St. James Police Division, confirmed that an illegal firearm was seized from Maxwell during the operation.
